Phish stormed Madison Square Garden on their annual holiday tour for a night of music, myth, theater and celebration. Originally released in 2005 and widely regarded as one of Phish’s finest live performances and named one of the “Greatest Concerts of the ’90s” by RollingStone, this box includes the complete three-set show (27 tracks and more than three and a half hours of music on 12 sides of vinyl).

This deluxe 6-LP vinyl set was created exclusively for Record Store Day 2015. These copies were held for Dry Goods from the original pressing.

  • The Siket Disc LP
    Item #: PHLP15
Originally self-released on CD in June 1999, The Siket Disc contains 35 minutes of almost entirely instrumental, live-in-the-studio improvisation recorded by its namesake, engineer John Siket. The music was culled by Phish keyboardist Page McConnell from The Story of the Ghost sessions in 1997 at Bearsville Studios in Woodstock, New York. Highlighting the band's millennial, sometimes-ambient explorations of the time, The Siket Disc yielded a few songs that have since been incorporated into live shows including "What's The Use?", "My Left Toe", "The Happy Whip and Dung Song", and even the vocoder soundscape of "Quadrophonic Toppling". The album was recorded and mixed by Siket, compiled/edited by McConnell, and mastered for vinyl from the Digital Audio Tape flat master by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering, pressed onto 180g audiophile grade vinyl.

  • Rift 2-LP Deluxe Edition Vinyl
    Item #: PHLP14
Blue version (limited) was available only at the JEMP Records Store at Magnaball and comes with a Limited Edition new print from David Welker. BLUE VERSION HAS SOLD OUT.

Rift was recorded in September and October 1992 at White Crow Studios in Burlington, Vermont on 24-track 2" tape by Engineer Kevin Halpin assisted by Jon Altschiller. Rift introduced a cohesive set of complex compositions sequenced to deliver the narrative and imagery of a fractured romance.

Trey Anastasio and Tom Marshall wrote eleven songs on Rift, Mike Gordon contributed two more - "Mound" and "Weigh", and Jon Fishman's "Lengthwise" appeared on the album twice. Almost all the material on Rift was developed live before the album was recorded – much of it debuted in a few big chunks in 1991 and 1992. The title track, created in sections between 1987 to 1992, has more history. The melody grew out of the instrumental "With" section of The Curtain With, which was performed live from Summer 1987 to Summer 1988. The nascent lyrics were incorporated almost two years later in 1990 and "Rift" was played basically in its entirety a half dozen times that year. "Rift" was then shelved and re-introduced in 1992 (as heard on the album) with a faster tempo and slightly reworked lyrics. The cover art was created from an oil on canvas painting by David Welker, who worked with the band during winter 1992 to depict all but one of the album's tracks on the cover.

Rift was mastered by Bob Ludwig and released by Elektra February 2, 1993 on CD and cassette. The album went on to be certified Gold. In late 2014, Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering cut the lacquers from the Digital Audio Tape flat master for the vinyl edition. Each LP is pressed onto 180g audiophile grade vinyl and includes a free MP3 download of the album transferred from the vinyl.

  • A Picture Of Nectar 2-LP Deluxe Vinyl
    Item #: PHLP10
A Picture Of Nectar, the band's third full-length studio album, pressed on vinyl for the first time as a Limited Edition Deluxe 2-LP vinyl set. The album was mastered by Bob Ludwig and released by Elektra February 18, 1992 on CD and cassette. The album went on to be certified Gold. In 2014, Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering cut the lacquers from the original stereo master reels for the vinyl edition. Each LP is pressed onto 180g audiophile grade vinyl and includes a free MP3 download of the album (transferred from the vinyl master).

A Picture Of Nectar was recorded in 1991 at White Crow Studios in Burlington, Vermont on 24-track 2" tape and mixed to 1/2" stereo reels. This was the band's major label debut and the start of a long relationship with Elektra. It was also their tribute to Nectar Rorris, owner of Nectar's in Burlington, where Phish played many multiple night stands in the 1980's that in their words "taught us how to play."

The material displayed the growing extent and diversity of Phish's talents honed throughout eight years of rehearsals and hundreds of live shows. Twenty two years later, nearly every song on A Picture Of Nectar is still in live rotation today.

    Item #: MGLP07
10" vinyl record (pressed on gray splattered wax). Five song EP includes additional tracks from the 2014 Overstep recording sessions; one of which ended up making its way into the recording sessions for Phish's latest album Fuego. Mike and Scott Murawski penned the songs during a series of writing retreats in New England for Overstep.

The EP includes the upbeat "Normal Phoebe" and "Eclipse" before settling into a quieter and more relaxed "Loon" and "Snow". Though originally written by Mike and Scott for Overstep, "Snow" made its live debut on stage with Phish on Halloween 2013. The original studio track was then recorded with the rest of Phish in Nashville during the Fuego recording sessions. The EP ends with a composed and less traditional rock-esque "The Last Step."

  • Mike Gordon "Overstep" 2-LP Blue Vinyl
    Item #: MGLP06
Pressed on 2 blue LPs, Overstep is Mike Gordon's fourth solo studio album, following Moss, The Green Sparrow, and Inside In. Gordon and Scott Murawski penned the songs for Overstep during a series of writing retreats in New England. He turned over the producing reins to Paul Q. Kolderie (Radiohead, Uncle Tupelo, Pixies) and invited a few new players into the studio, including legendary drummer Matt Chamberlain (Jon Brion, Fiona Apple).

"Yarmouth Road," the infectious, reggae-inspired number is already familiar to Phish fans after its debut (along with "Say Something") on the band's Summer 2013 tour. Distant industrial noise gradually gives way to lush guitars and welcoming vocal harmonies in "Ether," the album opener (listen to the track here), while "Jumping" is a rhythmic puzzle box, detailing a series of thoughts that take place in a fleeting 1.5 seconds.

Many of these songs promise huge payoffs in a live environment, most notably two plunging grooves that seem capable of bringing a house down. "Tiny Little World" opens with a polite reverie about a fetching woman in a coffee shop, but morphs quickly into pulsing boogie as the narrator is carried away by desire and bravado. Debauched exhortations to dance surface again in "Face," which chugs along atop Chamberlain's simple but undeniable pocket.

Each LP includes a voucher to download an MP3 version of the album.
