TAB at the Tab, recorded live on February 27, 2010 by Trey Anastasio Band at the legendary Tabernacle in Atlanta, captures the band at the peak of its powers and includes live renditions of classic TAB songs and numerous new compositions.

Building on 2009's stripped-down four-piece lineup lead guitarist/vocalist Anastasio, Russ Lawton (drums), Tony Markellis (bass) and Ray Paczkowski (keyboards) TAB added horns back into the mix for its most recent foray. Longtime TAB members Russell Remington (tenor saxophone and flute) and Jennifer Hartswick (trumpet and vocals) were joined by newcomer Natalie Cressman (trombone and vocals), just 18 and on her first national tour.

The instrumentation, vocals and arrangements prove a formidable combination, from the scintillating opener 'Money, Love and Change' to the tender 'Words to Wanda' (marking the song's first appearance on record). TAB at the Tab also marks the recorded debuts of fan favorite 'Windora Bug,' and Led Zeppelin's 'Black Dog.'

All proceeds from Steamroller Wheelies will be directed towards recovery efforts, to help restore Vermont after the devastating effects of Hurricane Irene in 2011. Steamroller Wheelies is available now for download at LivePhish.com . The CD version sold here is limited to one printing. "The repairing of Vermont is about bringing different kinds of people together, so I wanted to do that musically with this group of tracks that were recorded over the years with interesting and unique musicians, but not widely released to the public" says Gordon. Musicians who participated include Phish bandmates Page McConnell and Jon Fishman, Marco Benevento, Joe Russo, Chris Thile, Little Feat, Danny Barnes, Russell Batiste, Fonzworth Bentley, Scott Murawski, Oteil Burbridge and others. "My entire career was based on moving to Vermont and embracing the magnificent Green Mountain vibes that infused Phish with its sound. Since our success story started with Vermont, it's natural that we immediately started contributing to the recovery efforts after Hurricane Irene. I wanted to make a personal contribution. Steamroller Wheelies gives some songs a home while helping to rebuild Vermont homes, roads, and bridges." See Details for a complete track listing.

  • Walnut Creek DVD
    Item #: PHAM120
On July 22, 1997, Phish performed the second show of their U.S. summer tour at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre in Raleigh, NC through a torrent of rain, thunder and lightning. Rather than cancel the gig, the band played on with the music mirroring the peaks in the storm's intensity. Highlights include "Down With Disease"that slowly segues into "Mike's Song" the first and only time these two classic tunes were ever paired together in such a way as well as "Taste," complete with near Biblical thunder and lightning display. Overall the show is remembered as a significant example of Phish's hallmark approach to group improvisation with the performances here characterized by an exceptionally democratic and refined balance of four musical voices. This 2-DVD set features more than 2 1/2 hours of 5-camera footage with 5.1 Dolby Surround or optional stereo sound. Click on the product image for a complete track listing
