Brand new 6-CD box set, showcasing two complete shows recorded live on June 18, 1994 and November 25, 1994 at UIC Pavilion in Chicago, IL.
By 1994, Phish was well established as an international touring act and already well known to a growing group of hardcore fans. Amidst a tour packed with highlights - it was this summer that convinced the band to start multi-tracking their live shows - this show was recorded for posterity on 2-track DAT.
Paul Languedoc's stereo soundboard mixes re-mastered by Fred Kevorkian carry the intensity and intricacy of these special shows to listeners' ears eighteen years later. Chicago '94 contains nearly six hours of music performed at both shows for a total of 43 songs, including material from the UIC soundchecks. The shows are presented in a 6-CD box set with new artwork by longtime collaborator and Chicagoan Jim Pollock.

JackMarch 29, 2023This box set is awesome! I wish it was pressed on vinyl. I’m 24 and am fairly new to Phish. I’ve been digging deep through their catalogue, starting with some live shows in the late 80s and working my way to the present day. This was an awesome collection of songs. Right up there with the Roxy box set! Seeing them at Hollywood Bowl next month!

Need more CD's because, Yes I still collect and have tried to get LIVE Phish CD's on Amazon and folks just don't send what they detail and it is a disappointment. Most recent, I sent on Amazon for Volume 17 and got sets 2/3, but no set 1; instead got set 4 from a 98 Vegas show. Thoroughly enjoyed the Antelope on that 4th set, but you get my Drift, not what I intended to get and CD's were a bit beat up too. If I could, similar to Dave's Picks get the list of the volumes I would invest and help My Brain out. Please consider, be Grateful

So I'm like I'm going to get some vintage fish old school 94-97 type stuff. After I had read review, from this kid who did shows from 94 to 97 , I look at the name it's someone I used to go to shows with, all the f****** time. I can't believe this. Josh I love you bro.
