These are short shorts....not board shorts. I'm 48 yrs old and they remind me of the swim trunks I wore as a kid before knee length Bermuda shorts became a thing in the late 80's. I am 6'1" 190lb with a 35-36 inch waist and a 34 inch inseam. I bought the large and that's a pretty good fit. They are just barely loose in the waist but the drawstring makes them perfect. They have side pockets and a back pocket with a velcro closure. Side pockets are not deep enough to secure a cell phone. These trunks do have a liner which is probably a good thing bc the inseam is only about 3". These short shorts are bringing sexy back!
