All new 2-LP Stars So Bright (blue/green/neon yellow splatter vinyl) 180g pressing with deluxe gatefold packaging. Phishs ninth full-length studio album (originally released in 2000), Produced by Bryce Goggin and Trey Anastasio. The lacquers for the new 2-LP vinyl release were cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering from the original 1/2 master reel tapes. The album was recorded and mixed in fall 1999 and winter 2000 at The Barn in Vermont by John Siket and was produced by Bryce Goggin and Trey who arranged the horns for Gotta Jibboo (Dave Grippo sax, Jen Hartswick trumpet, Andy Moroz trombone) and strings for Dirt (John Dunlop cello, Roy Feldman viola, David Gusakov and Laura Markowitz violin). The acoustic instrumental The Inlaw Josie Wales included Bla Fleck (banjo) and Jerry Douglas (dobro). Farmhouse was originally mastered by Bob Ludwig and released by Elektra on CD, cassette, and vinyl on May 16, 2000. The single, Heavy Things charted after being previewed live at Big Cypress on ABCs New Year's Eve 2000 coverage, First Tube was nominated for a Best Rock Instrumental Performance GRAMMY, and the album went on to be certified Gold. The lacquers for the new 2-LP vinyl release were cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering.
